Agri stirs Fury to see the villagers go to the BJP candidate

Written by news2in

Bareilly: Prospective BJP Harendra Singh Rinsu was chased by locals on Monday night when he campaigned in Shakarpur Village under the constituency of Asmoli Sambhal.
In broadly circulated videos, some can be seen said that BJP has “planted nails at the Ghazipur border to disrupt the agitation of a peaceful farmer.” They alleged that BJP workers “open fire” in farmer protests (in the Lakhimpur Kheri), besides “using water cannons and tear gas”.
One of them said, “We will not let BJP leaders enter the village.” The source said that people who protested BJP candidates came from farmers’ unions.
One of the protesters said, “We cannot forget what BJP does on farmers.
We will not vote for every BJP candidate.” Meanwhile, Singh told Tii, “There were several men who initially talked to me by introducing themselves as Farmers.
Then, we found that they were SP workers who tried to disrupt peace.
I have asked the District Pancayati Raj officers to see the village condition and complete all the delayed jobs there.
The village head supports us and I meet many locals who promise to choose BJP.
They are not happy with SP candidates because there is no promise filled with it.
