Agriculture Law: SC Panel Members said they would decide to release a report after analyzing the ‘legal consequence’

New Delhi: Anil J Ghanwat, part of the Committee appointed by the Supreme Court three members on agricultural law on Monday said he would decide whether to release a panel report after analyzing the legal consequences and claiming that two other members had given him the freedom to receive the phone.
The panel, after studying three agricultural laws and consultation with stakeholders, had submitted a report to the APEX court on March 19.
Since then, the report has not been published even though Ghanwat asked the head of Justice in India in September.
1 To release a report in the public domain that said “Recommendations will open the way to resolve the ongoing farmer agitation.” Speaking to PTI, Ghanwat, President Shetkari Sanghatan, said the committee met on Monday against the background of the government decided to revoke three agricultural laws.
“We discuss in detail whether to make a public report or not.
Two other members gave me the freedom to receive a call about this problem.
I will decide after analyzing legal consequences, if any,” he said.
Two other Committee members were Ashok Gulati (Agri economist and former Chairman of the Commission for agricultural and agricultural prices) and Pramod Kumar Joshi (Agri Economist and Director for South Asia at the International Food Policy Research Institute).
These two members are not available for comments.
Ghanwat said unlike these two members who were academics and professionals, he was a leader of farmers.
The panel report in “supporting” the agricultural community and must be released in the public domain in a greater interest in the state agricultural sector and the welfare of farmers.
Expressing disappointment over the government’s decision to revoke agriculture laws, Ghanwat last week said this decision “will not end agitation too.
Because their request to make the minimum support price (MSP) legal will exist.
And this decision will not help BJP also politically .
“” This is a very unfortunate decision.
The farmers are given freedom, but now they will be exploited because they have been exploited since independence or since the British government, “he said.
Three Central Agriculture Laws to be revoked are: Farmers produce trade and trade (promotion and facilitation), 2020; Farmers (empowerment and protection) of the price guarantee agreement and agricultural service law; and important commodity (amendment).
