Ahmedabad: Heavy rain in the city once again exposes bad jobs from the AMC road contractor, with two large Cave-ins reported on Monday.
One cave happened between the intersection of Manekbuag and Shyamal and the others at Balol Nagar in Ranip.
At least three vehicles are trapped in the Manekbug-Shyamal cave.
Crane was called by the car owner.
First, FORAM Patel found the car sank into the crater.
Then the SUV and luxury car are sucked.
Patel said he would do the karate class.
When he took the left turn opposite Shreyas Foundation, he realized that his car tilted to one side.
“I immediately tried to go down but couldn’t open the door and therefore had to get out of the other side,” he said.
“The road subsided and there was no way to remove my own car.
I asked for help, but some crane drivers refused to come.” Finally, a crane driver took a job.
“He took out the vehicle and demanded me Rs 1,200,” he said.
Patel said he even called the traffic police, but did not get help.
He said that he and other people who gathered on the site told the driver to be careful, but a SUV driver had his front tire stuck in Cavein.
However, people managed to help him.
“Then, luxury car drivers also did not heed our warnings,” Patel said.
“He also needs a crane.” Cave Nagar Balol forced AMC to close one side of the road and divert traffic to the other side.
Whereas for the case of Manekbug-Shyamal, AMC officials say Cave-in Laxity Illustration Contractors.
After the pipe is placed, the contractor should flush the area and reclaim the earth.
