Ahmedabad: Three people died and 13 sustainable injuries when a car hit Chhakdo near Rethal Village at Sanand Taluka from the Ahmedabad district on Sunday, a police officer said.
An officer posted with the Sanand GIDC police said that according to a person who passed – by a fast car about Chhakdo, where 20 people traveled.
Chhakdo is a modified trolley attached to a motorcycle.
“Chhakdo changed the turtle due to the impact caused by a collision.
The car driver also lost control and the car was dragged on the road.
Passengers traveling in Chhakdo are trapped in the vehicle and sustainable injury,” the officer said.
Local residents withdrew injured and called an ambulance.
A doctor from 108 ambulances said three people, including a 60-year-old woman, died.
Wounded people were taken to two different hospitals in Town Sanand and their condition was reported stable.
Officers said that the deceased was identified as the driver of the Magan Patel car, 60, a resident of Hirapur Sanand Village, along with Pig Patel, 60, and Hasmukh Patel, 35, a resident of the MOTI Kisol Village in Sanand, who traveled in Chhakdo.
Passengers at Chhakdo traveled to Moti Kisol’s village to find work.
The Sanand GIDC police have registered the case of the negligent driver who caused the death of a dead car driver and began an investigation.
