AHD: Covid Haze in Sky Uttarayan, Case Soar Like Kite

Ahmedabad: Gloom AHmedabad AHMedabad in run-up to the Uttarayan festival this year also because the Covid case jumped like a kite.
Gawk uncertainty is completely related to centuries trading: the kitemaker, spoiled maker, the hospitality industry, and those who rent a terrace in a walled city.
Rashmi Delialwale, 32, and eight family members from Kanpur settled at Ahmedabad after being done to coat spoiled with special and colored glass powder paste.
The family makes 35,000 meters of kite lines in a day.
“We usually get Rs 50,000 for each bulk order.
This year, we hope the situation is better,” said Deliwale.
The sentiment echoed by Munna Patangwala, whose family had made kites for three generations; And Imran Chipa, who had traded for two decades.
Chipa and Patangwala have hired workers to make 10,000 kites a day.
They make 25 types of kites including Jhalalar, Bamki, Manjula, and Pavlo.
They also specialize in making kites with photo prints.
Every season they sell 25 to 30 lakh kites.
Nearly 10-20% of kites produced in the city for sale in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Karnataka.
“After suffering from heavy losses last year, we have a lot of that at stake this time,” said Prachi Kashyap, a spoiled maker.
“Covid has harmed people in our financially trading.
Sales have been reduced by 50% because of Covid and competition from the Chinese line.” Kashyap added: “Now we are afraid that our trade will suffer losses with fresh covid sidewalks.” The majority of kite-line makers and kite manufacturers in this city are spread in areas such as Jamalpur, Juhapura, Raipur, Kalupur, Kubernagar, Allahnagar, Saraspur, Mirzapur, and Behrampura.
They paid around Rs 250 to RS 300 for 1,000 kites.
Vice President of the Gujarat Patas trade association and trade association, Nasruddin Shaikh, said: “With every wave of pandemic, Enchantment of Uttarayan fades.” He added: “Because at night at night, we hope only a few people to buy kites this season.” (With input from Dhyanvi Chauhan)
