AHD: Mafia changes beggar into a lab mouse for a new drug trial

Ahmedabad: Beggars cannot become voters.
And, when the drug mafia in the city decided to try their new synthetic drug, this saying was changed quite literally.
The on-ground investigation by Toi has revealed that the drug mafia targets beggars to try their narcotics pills and powder to check their effects and efficacy.
If the drug ‘experiment’ succeeded, then it was introduced to others through the black market for drugs.
And, if not, there is nothing wiser about beggars, which have become a faceless entity – the presence they only register when you hear the sound of whining or their dirty hands on your sleeves.
Mafia usually picks beggars and homelessers from the walled city area and the train station and terminus bus.
In many cases, drugs place beggars in life-threatening situations.
The house of Salim Mohammed is a path outside Kalapur train station.
The 38-year-old player made a living.
His deputy smoked marijuana but when another beggar who lived on the same path recently offered him a new drug, he decided to try it.
Within minutes, he began to vomit and bleed from his nose.
A witness, refused to be named after, “Another beggar named Raja, 40 years old with whom Mohammed got used to smoking marijuana, gave him a tablet.
This happened in the first week of August.
The king said that the tablet would give them a pleasant feeling.” Mohammed took the tablet.
Within half an hour, he began to vomit.
Immediately, he began to bleed from his nose too.
This continues for two days.
Then, an unknown man came and asked about him.
He took Mohammed to the doctor who gave him medicine.
Mohammed’s condition improved after that.
“Mahesh Dantani, who lives on the path in Khamasa, was given a few things like powder to snort.
The 25-year-old player gets his livelihood by working as a daily wage worker.
When he didn’t get a job, he turned to beg.
A few days ago , someone gave him a new drug that made him crazy.
He banged his hand repeatedly on the wall so he broke the two members of his body.
Similarly, Mehrunnisa Shaikh, 24, who lived near the sarangpur bridge with his five-month-old daughter was given a tablet by two unknown men What convinced him that it would save him from various diseases.
“I consume tablets with water.
People then gave us milk that my daughter and I consume.
After 15 minutes, I began to feel dizzy.
It feels as if the sarangpur bridge will fall on me.
I lived in Delirium’s situation about one day, “he said.” When I get a consciousness of about one and a half days later, I found my baby’s health condition had deteriorated because I hadn’t feeded it right, “he added.
Roku Rohit, 24, and Rekha Kumari , 20, who lives on the path in the Kalupur area and Panjrapol also has a similar experience.
Rohit was given a tablet that he was destroyed and snorted.
He lost his consciousness for 2-3 days.
Rekha, who couldn’t even talk to his name correctly, said that Various men constantly provide new drugs for consumption and snort.
“After taking this narcotics, I cannot act, walk, or speak correctly.
When I did not get the medicine, I slit my hand with the bar, “he said, showing a knife in his hand.
A crime branch officer said that they had known the modus operandi such as the drug mafia but had not filed a complaint about the incident.
