Ahmedabad: After a long hiatus, Amdavadi experiences rainfall on Mondays and Tuesdays, providing a lot of breaks from heat and moisture.
The city on Monday recorded 8mm rainfall, while until 8 o’clock at night the city had recorded 19mm rain on Tuesday.
According to estimates of the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), the next three days can witness rainfall that is widespread throughout the state.
The department has also given a very heavy warning of rainfall for Valsad, Navsari, Letters, Porbandar, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Junagadh and Jamnagar for September 1, and Devbhoomi Dwarka, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Banescantha, Patan and Mehsana on September 3 to the next, rain can reduce intensity, mention estimates.

Umergam at Valsad received maximum 259mm rainfall.

The officials of the State Agriculture Service said that by far sowing was reported at 83 lakh hectares, which was 95% of the average annual sowing during the rainy season.
Sarovar Sarovar official Narmada Nigam Ltd said that the reservoir had 1.55 lakh MCFT water, which was 46.5% of its capacity.
