Ahmedabad: With only 11 fresh cases and 115 patients who were disposed of, Ahmedabad City now have less than 450 active cases, which is the lowest number of active cases since May 2020.
As on Saturday, the city only has 412 active cases.
Within 24 hours at 5 pm on Saturday, Ahmedabad City recorded only 11 new Covid cases, while 115 patients were used up, reducing active cases at 104.
Thus, active cases on Saturday fell below 500 to 412.
At its peak The district has 68,513 active cases in 4.
Officials said the city had received 20 new cases on June 29.
Since then, the number has continued to decline.
Over the past five days, the number of new cases reported less than 15.
Officials said that the number of people dismissed on Saturdays might be the highest in the last 10 days.
AMC officials said that they now keep their fingers cross.
Officials said the corporation also reduced the number of RT-PCR testing facilities and antigens.
Antigen testing in Jodhpur is only done in Prahladnagar now.
Anti-Gen Testing or RT-PCR also decreases at an urban health center in Ambli, Ghuma and Thaltej.
Officials said that of the 400 strange active cases, the majority came from the western part of the city and also the city of the south.
An officer said that the central zone or the walled city area that had witnessed the initial outbreak reported almost zero cases for the last 4-5 days.
