AHMEDABAD: Suneet Sharma, chairman and CEO of the Railway Board, stated on Wednesday the growth of this Gandhinagar railroad station is close to completion whilst development work has started at Ahmedabad, Surat, Udhna and Bhuj railroad stations in Gujarat.

He explained cargo trains now move at a normal rate of 46km each hour along with the railways is in the practice of raising the speed farther.
Concerning the railway passenger services,” Sharma stated that the railways has made a decision to begin more specific trains onto a business based on the duration of the waiting lists to get almost any train.
“We’re moving ahead on the recommendation of the state authorities for beginning services.
We’ve begun trains for Mumbai and Surat and also Ranchi since the passengers desire round excursions,” he explained.
