AHD: Telephone, Pen Drive worth RS 41L stolen from the store

Ahmedabad: When the police are believed to be deployed in every corner and angle to ensure night hours, the thieves have a free run because they target a cellphone store in the Shastrinagar area and covered with cellphones, cash and other articles worth Rs 41 Lakh during the night intervention Wednesday and Thursday.
Rajesh Lalchandani, 38, a resident of Sumeru Bungalows near the Sarthi Party plot in Vastrapur, said in a crook with Ghatlodia police that he had two shops in Sardar Patel Shopping Mall in Shastrinagar, where he sold cellphones and accessories.
Lalchandani said that he had closed the shop around 10pm and the store key with one of the staff members.
On Thursday morning, one of the staff members named Lalchandani and told him that the store lock was broken and the shutter was also damaged.
According to FIR, the store was searched when thieves dispose of cell phone covers and other articles.
The FIR said that the thief was confusing with 164 upscale cellphones worth Rs 36 Lakh, Rs 68,000 in cash, drive pen and memory card worth Rs 1.80 lakh, five sets of radio worth Rs 10,000, blue tooth headphones worth Rs 2.31 lakh from the store.
The thieves also took the CCTC DVR from the store so they were not arrested during ACT.
Ghatlodia police have registered theft complaints and started an investigation.
