“We have warned such people to stay away from functions or action facing,” said a district health official.
Health officials face problems from international passengers who land in Delhi or Mumbai and then travel to Ahmedabad through domestic flights.
The monitoring section, AMC had deployed Van Sanjeevani to oversee the health conditions of individuals in quarantine.
Also on standby is 10 private hospitals that will have a special bed to isolate omicron cases.
Three hotels have prepared an isolation room.
