Ahmedabad: A 50-year-old woman from the Sardenagar area in the city has been deceived by Rs 50,000 by the alleged ‘Witchdoctor’ which was suspected of being the pretext of the positive vibration at his home.
The defendant’s approach after he was impressed by watching the video posted by the defendant on YouTube.
But, he finally lost money.
The victim, Kamla Shekhawat’s son Dashrath Shekhawat, a resident of Bhadreshwar Society in Kotapur, filed a complaint with the Airport Police Station against the alleged ‘Witchdoctor’ which was identified as Abhishek Mishra.
Dashrath, said in his complaint that his mother Kamla was fed up with domestic disputes and wanted peace at home.
“For about a year, he witnessed various religious videos of the Daily Godman program and accused ‘Witchdoctors’ on various YouTube channels,” Dashrath was mentioned in FIR.
He said that he contacted one of the alleged ‘Witchdoctor’ like that on the number given on their video screen and asked for help.
Kamla told the Dashrath to deposit RS 50,000 in one Abhishek Mishra account on June 26, 2021.
“As one of my neighbor’s names is also Abhishek Mishra, I think my mother might lend money to him.
And so I keep the number in ABHishEk Mishra account,” said Dashrath.
Dashrath said he asked his mother why he gave Mishra’s money.
He told him that he had given money to ‘Witchdoctor’.
Dashrath realizes that he might have been cheated.
He tried to call the telephone number where Kamla previously spoke, but his call was missed.
He then filed a complaint.
