Ahmedabad: City crime branch on Wednesday looked down a 38-year-old woman, her 19-year-old girlfriend and their 22-year-old friend for allegedly killing her unemployed husband on July 17.
The police said that Rekha Solanki, who lived on a path near Bhadrakali Temple in Karanj, established a relationship with Sabir Pathan, 19, and Raju Damor, 23, who also lived there.
Rekha, made picking money, and told two men last week that he wanted to get rid of her husband, Jignesh Solanki, who spent all the money.
The two men told him that they would kill him and then would live together.
To kill Jignesh, they approached another man, named Shivam Thakkar, 22, and decided to kill Jignesh by strangling him.
Four – Rekha, Pathan, Thakkar and Damor – met on the east side of the river near Ellis Bridge, drinking liquor together and dinner on July 17.
They then approached Jignesh and took him to Ellis Bridge and his two girlfriends and audes they struggled Jignesh and then strangled with a rope.
They left his body near Garden Victoria and fled.
Gaekwad Police Haveli registered a murder and investigation case given to City Crime Branch.
Crime branch officers, based on human intelligence, Nabbed Rekha, Pathan and Thakkar and are looking for Damor.
