PANAJI: Ahead of their state assembly polls scheduled to be held in February next year, the state government has lifted the freeze recruitments to government branches.
“The government has recently determined that the ban imposed aged November 22, 2016, and associated instructions will stand removed with immediate impact,” reads the newest circular issued by the division of staff.
The ban on new hirings for permanent government places was introduced in through the tenure of former chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar at 2016.
The ban has been set up after the fiscal load of implementation of recommendations of this pay commission.
This past calendar year, CM Pramod Sawant had declared the ban on recruitments will be increased in January 2021.
