Ahmedabad: A 21-year-old man, a fourth year student at LD Engineering College, on Thursday filed a complaint at the Ellisbridge Police Station said that the three people took him in the knifepoint and forced him to transfer RS ​​10,000 to their account through Unified.

The robbers not only made Mohammed Maaz Sipai, a resident of Lunawada in Panchmahal, transferred money from his account but also made him call two friends, from whom they got Rs 2,000 through UPI.
Sipai in Fir said that the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon near Pritamnagar at Ellisbridge.
“At 2pm, Thursday, I stopped my scooter near Pritamnagar and was reading a message on my cellphone.
At this time, an unknown man around 25 years old, approached me and asked me what I did on the phone,” Sipai said in FIR.
To avoid it, the scolder drove his scooter further and once again stopped to read the message.
The man, along with two other men around 25, came there and one of them hugged him, put a knife into his neck and began to demand money.
“One of them asked me how much money I had.
I said I only had Rs 6,000 in my account.
One of the three gave a telephone number and made me transfer RS ​​6,000 through Google Pay,” said Sipai.
He said that the three men asked him to arrange more money if he wanted to leave.
Afraid, Sipai called two friends and gave them the reason that a friend’s mother was hospitalized, and she really needed money.
His friends transferred total Rs 4,000 to telephone numbers provided by robbers.
Ellisbridge police registered a case against three unknown people.
