Ahmedabad: A passenger who arrived at Terminal-2 Sardar Vallabhbhai Airport Patel International (SVPI) was early on Tuesday morning, forgot his bag at the city airport.
He has left a handbag on a trolley, according to airport sources.
However, thanks to Manish Jadhav, an airport security staff who oversees the parking area, Delhi passengers who returned to his bag back.
“I was on duty starting at 6 am and so on.
I just checked the trolley, when I found a bag lying without supervision.
I immediately clicked on the picture and sent it to my security supervisor, who then sent it to the terminal manager’s office,” Jadhav said to Tii.
Airport officials confirmed that the passenger returned to the city airport a few hours later, and after checking with the terminal manager, he received his bag intact.
Jadhav, who is a resident of Kalol near Gandhinagar, traveled to the airport every day on a motorcycle.
He has worked at city airports since November and airport resources said that Jadhav was the DO-Gooder series who had returned to lose, forgotten and left the items from several passengers transiting through the city airport.
“In December last year, Jadhav saw a wallet at the airport where he immediately took and was handed over to the security supervisor.
The wallet contained RS 97,000 in cash,” the source said.
Before working at City Airport, Jadhav has worked in a residential building as a security supervisor.
