Ahmedabad: A 37-year-old woman from Kalupur City area has filed a complaint with the local police station that accused her husband escaping to the US in 2017 and has been conformed since.
The woman said in her code, it was filed on Tuesday that her husband was disadvantaged by him because he gave birth to a daughter.
He said he had never cared for their daughter even when the child was critical after an accident.
The woman said in a complaint that she married a man from Kandivali in Mumbai on January 19, 2012, and settled there.
On March 17, 2013, when he was pregnant, his husband and his in-laws bowed his fetus to the sex determination test.
When in-laws know that he brought a daughter, they pressed it to cancel pregnancy, said FIR.
The woman accused her mother-in-law struggling to force a miscarriage.
But he somehow survived the attack and delivered his daughter on June 14, 2013.
The complainant said that he had gone to his parents for delivery.
Husband and his in-laws were so disadvantaged by the birth of his daughter that they did not come to see him for about five months.
In December 2014, they took him and his daughter back for his brother-in-law’s wedding, said the woman in FIR.
In 2016, when he told her husband to register his daughter in the baby’s room, he refused to give money and told him to get the fees from his parents, he said in FIR.
The complainant said that one day her husband told him that his company would send him to the US.
The woman demanded that she brought her and their daughter with her, but she said she would never do that.
In October 2017, when he was in his parents in Ahmedabad, his daughter fell from the terrace and suffered a severe injury on his head.
Even when he was serious, her husband never came to see their daughter and block the complainant number.
After that he never contacted a complainant.
In 2018, he knew through the social media posts from his brother-in-law that her husband had settled in the US.
He said that her husband and his in-laws contacted him after that.
He finally approached the police and filed a complaint of domestic violence against her husband and her in-laws.
