AHMEDABAD: Components of central Gujarat such as Ahmedabad may get mild showers on Thursday and Friday using monsoon progressing farther in Gujarat, said India Meteorological Department (IMD) prediction on Tuesday.
On Tuesdaythe town’s greatest temperature increased farther at 40.6 degrees celsius, 2.3 degrees above normal.
In 29.1 levels, the minimum temperatures was 1.9 levels higher – leading to humid weather for those citizens.
‘moderate to medium rain/thundershowers likely at isolated locations in Ahmedabad, Anand,’ Dang, Tapi, Surat, Navsari, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Bhavnagar, Kutch and Union Territories of Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli,” read prediction for June 17.
Some sections of south Gujarat on Tuesday received mild rain.
