Ahmedabad: On Monday, the city contributed half of the new positive cases registered in Gujarat.
The city reported 15 of the 29 cases recorded in Gujarat, making it one of the highest in the past four months.
Meanwhile, the case of Covid Active City reached 83, which contributed 35% of a total of 235 active cases of the country.
Other cases include 5 of Valsad, 4 of the city of Vadodara, 2 of the letter, 1 from the city of Jamnagar, and 1 of each of the City of Letter and Kheda.
Active casts rose five with a discharge of 24 patients in 24 hours.
The country recorded a vaccination of 4.62 lakh people in 24 hours including 4.19 lakh second dose.
The possibility of the country can cross 3 crore second vaccination doses on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Of the total active patients, four were in the ventilator on Monday night.
