Ahmedabad: The state government record shows that the city has so far received 364mm rainfall against an average annual rainfall of 795mm, counrted 45.7% of seasonal rainfall so far.
Cumulatively, the state has received 49% of seasonal rain.
While the countdown for the withdrawal has begun, the estimate of the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) states that from September 7 and so on, some parts of the country tend to get heavy rainfall.
For the city, Monday may see light rainfall on Tuesday and so on, cities and districts can experience rainfall.
On Sunday, nine talukas recorded 10mm or more rainfall where Raju in Amreli (26mm) and Khambhat in Anand (23mm) recorded the highest rainfall.
