AHMEDABAD: The town received mild to moderate showers Thursday afternoon, documenting total 9 millimeter rain.
India Meteorological Department officials said in the prediction Thursday that the town could receive rain on Friday with inclement weather conditions.
“Morning trough runs from West Rajasthan to northeast Bay of Bengal, western interference for a trough in middle and upper tropospheric westerlies and cyclonic flow over south Pakistan and area are providing rainfall to various components of Gujarat,” said an official.
“Large-scale atmospheric conditions aren’t favourable for additional progress of monsoon.
