AHMEDABAD: Luck shone to a passenger led to Mumbai in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport at Ahmedabad on Wednesday, since he obtained his package of foreign money worth $750 he had forgotten in the security check before boarding his flight because of the ethics and endurance of a airport staffer.
Jeki Chavdaa housekeeping employee at the airportwas cleaning the holes in the security test counter when they were utilized by passengers, even when he discovered a package of foreign money at a transparent zip-lock tote in one of the openings.
“While cleansing and restacking the traysI discovered a package of money in a plastic bag at a few of these.
I instantly understood that a passenger should have abandoned it.
I went and handed it on to the CISF personnel in the security test counter,” explained Jeki.
Airport sources said the money was in foreign money value a total of 750.
The incident happened around 5pm on Wednesday.
“CISF personnel instantly analyzed the CCTV footage and recognized probably passengers who might have abandoned the money.
After narrowing the search into a couple passengers, CISF officials approached him, confirmed which he had abandoned that the money and handed it to him.
The passenger in question was about to board some Mumbai-bound Indigo airlines flight in the moment,” explained a source.
