Ahmedabad: Jivraj Park Flyover is open to the public

Ahmedabad: Commuter began to use JIVRAJ Park Flyover on Friday after Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation, which has closed it for public use to complete the ongoing Metro work, finished working in just 6 days, not 11 days announced before.
The authorities say that to complete the work on two portals in Jivraj Flyover, GMRC has taken 11 days of traffic blocks in two phases – from 20 to 26 August, and from August 26 to 30.
However, the authorities succeeded in completing work on Friday and Traffic movements are restored.
The GMRC authorities say that additional resources are included in the service and the two portals are completed in six days.
Officials said the decision to spread extra machines and labor was taken when the flyover saw a lot of traffic and closing it many uncomfortable people.
The authorities say the Metro Authority will ask his agent to mobilize more men and finish work quickly in the area with heavy traffic flow.
