Ahmedabad: A 27-year-old woman from the Juhapura region in the city on Thursday filed a complaint to the Vejalpur police alleged that her husband had provided an instant divorce or Triple Talaq for domestic problems on Wednesday.
He said that he had married the man from Gomtipur in 2014 and had two six and five daughters from his marriage.
He accused him of his in-laws who began to harass him a year after his marriage and they began to accuse him of not cooking properly.
He also accused that his father-in-law and brother-in-law used to drink every day and provoke his husband to defeat him.
His father-in-law took a fight with him on August 1 serving food after his husband beat him badly.
Next, he left her husband’s house and went to her father’s place in the Juhapura area.
On August 18, her husband came to his house and told him to hand over their two daughters to him.
He replied that one of their daughters was not healthy and he could not give it to him.
After this, he defeated him, saying “Talaq” three times and left his place.
He told his parents about this and then approached the police Vejalpur and filed complaints of domestic violence, causing injured, saying words and roubling together with charges of Muslim women (protection of rights to marriage).
