AHMEDABAD: The Khokhra police on Sunday arrested one, Chandrasinh Chavda, that had been involved in illicit liquor trade in the region.
The police has recovered 102 bottles of Indian made foreign liquor and beer cans out of the accused.
Authorities said that through patrolling police obtained a particular tip off to a liquor being hauled into a white automobile for shipping.
Even the cops also got information that the defendant was saving spirits boxes inside their home.
Cops maintained an opinion in the region near Madrasi Mandir and detained Chavda with102 spirits bottles and beer cans.
During interrogation Chavda explained he was requested by Vasudevgiri Goswami to maintain the spirits at his home and it had been Vasudevgiri who’d got the spirits.
Chavda pleaded ignorance out of regarding the origin of spirits procurement.
The authorities also have registered a case against Vasudevgiri, who’s absconding.
