In comparison, Rajasthan recorded a 9% increase while other neighboring Maharashtra recorded a decline of 29%.
While Dr.
Nayan Jani, the country’s immunization officer, was not available for comments, a senior health department official said that the decline could be caused by the gap created by four days in the past week where vaccination has not yet occurred.
“There is no vaccination from Wednesday to Friday, and this Wednesday is because of the obedience of Mamta Divas.
Again there will be vaccinations on Sunday, now and so on, to provide vaccination staff rest,” the official said.
