Ahmedabad: The city in 24 hours ended 5pm on Monday adding 1,893 new Covid cases, recording down trends in the case of everyday after two weeks of increasing cases continued to increase.
In addition, the decline was 32%, the highest among the big cities of Gujarat.
With the addition of 1,268 active cases, the number reached 14,132 for the Ahmedabad district, accounted for 43.5% of the total active case of the state.
The city accounts for 31% of the country’s case on Monday.
Also on Monday, eight corporations of Gujarat City contributed 75% of everyday cases, the lowest in 11 days.
Only two districts – Dang and Porbandar – do not record any new cases, while 31 of the 33 districts record at least one new case.
All districts have at least one active case, mentioning the Dashboard of the State Health Department.
The state recorded the deaths of two active cases, one patient from the Regency of Letter and Rajkot.
The state registered the administration of a 3.82 lakh vaccine dose, with a total of 9.35 crores.
Like on Monday night, the state has 29 patients in the ventilator.
“Cases are riding throughout the country, and we are again in a spreading stage where you don’t need that you know from who you have had an infection,” said a city-based critical care specialist.
“While the nature of this disease is lighter, we must solve the chain with the right behavior including wearing a mask, maintaining social distance, and vaccinated.”
