AHMEDABAD: A cloth businessman out of Satellite was cheated from Rs 45,000 with a Palanpur resident that promised to provide him a vial of all tocilizumab.
Rajiv Thakkar, a resident of Sanskruti Flats, stated in his FIR by Vastrapur authorities that accused Devang Davea resident of Bhagyoday Society at Palanpur city of Banaskantha, tricked him if Thakkar had been looking for the shot because of his cousin.
“On April 28, my buddy Tejas Gadhia, 41, was admitted to a private hospital SG Road after being tested positive for Covid-19.
Because his condition deteriorated, he had been changed to the ICU and physicians recommended tocilizumab injections,” explained Thakkar at the FIR.
He enquired about the medication and a friend suggested that the title of those accused.
Thakkar stated he telephoned Dave who took Rs 45,000 for a single shot.
“On April 30, Dave called me and stated he would send the shot at a place near Himalaya mall at Vastrapur,” he explained.
Thakkar stated he waited the whole night, but nobody came.
“Dave kept telling me his aide could emerge and hand on the shooter, but nobody arrived that night,” explained Thakkar.
He explained that Dave afterwards told him he would give him a second injection or return the exact sum.
But he neglected to perform for nearly a month.
Ultimately, Thakkar approached Vastrapur authorities and registered a complaint of cheating and violation of faith against Dave.
