Ahmedabad: Satellite Man Sends Narcotics to China, NZ

Ahmedabad: A man from satellite, who runs the salon in South Bopal, sends drugs to Shanghai in China and Auckland in New Zealand, which he has bought from the US.
The defendant, Vandit Patel, also delivered drugs around 300 times to 50 places in Gujarat and other states.
This was revealed in an ongoing investigation by Rural Police Ahmedabad.
“Patel has sent a package containing medicines to his friends in China and New Zealand.
He may have taken medicines from California in the US, regarding which investigation is ongoing,” said a rural police officer Ahmedabad.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Ahmedabad Rural Police on November 15 Nabbed Patel and the aide and use Narcotics drugs worth 3.5 lakh from their ownership.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Patel used a dark web and imported drugs from countries such as US and Dutch through various cargo services.
“He used to take medicine through cargo services and put the houses and shops closed as shipping addresses.
He will track labor and when the courier is around that place, he or the aide will collect the parcel,” the officer said.
Police officers said he had received shipping around 100 kg of medicine, worth around Rs 10 Crore, using a dark web.
Using the courier website, he recently ordered around 27 parcels, which three were delivered and 24 confiscated by customs.
Rural Police Ahmedabad has gathered information about the packages confiscated from the customs department as well.
Police officers said accused organized drug parties in Delhi and Mumbai in the past and he was addicted to drugs since 2012.
Besides Patel, the three servants were also arrested by the police.
