Ahmedabad: Four robbers looked at the house of a rental accountant in Shela Village in Sanand Taluka from the Ahmedabad district in Wee hours on Tuesday, robbing him and his wife from jewelry and other valuables worth Rs 2 Lakh in knifepoint and escaping.
This is a second robbery on the stretch of Bopal-Shela in just a month.
Manoj Agrawal, 43, a resident of Arcus Sky Bungalows in Shela, in Cemara with police Bopal stated that he worked as CA for realty developers in Prahladnagar.
Around 3am on Monday, when agrawal and his wife, Vandana, fell asleep in their room on the first floor of their house, they heard a voice and wake up.
When they wake up, they found four men, aged between 30 and 35 years, in front of them.
The men illuminated the faces of the couple and threatened to kill them if they spoke.
The four men had the knife they showed the couple.
They forcefully remove the gold bracelet 7 grams of agrawal, and then Mangalsutra 15-gram Vandana, and a gold bracelet, weighs around 50g.
The four men told the agrawal to open their son’s room, but he begged told his children unhealthy and they should not wake him up.
Meanwhile, Manoj’s older son woke up and locked his room from inside.
The robbers then dropped for a while and left home after some time.
Manoj’s son called relatives, who told the police robbery.
After robbers left, Manoj went down and found a house in search.
He found that he had taken his laptop, worth around Rs 30,000.
Bopal police filed complaints of robbery and downsizing against four men.
On July 31, four were accused of entering a house in Ghuma and associates with valuable items worth Rs 2 Lakh after limiting the victims of the house.
Kasing is still unsolved.
