Ahmedabad: A 17-year-old girl died after giving birth to a child who was born in a hospital in the city of Saraspur after that the police accused an unknown man with murder, rape, and guilty imprisonment.
Pocso Law (Child protection from sexual violations) has been called too.
The girl died on Saturday.
According to the police, the girl is a resident where the government is near the Chartoda funeral ground.
He was taken to Shardaben Hospital in Saraspur with lower abdominal pain and severe bleeding.
When the doctor examined it, they found that he was pregnant and would give birth.
The police were told to be clear that he was still small and, in all probabilities, victims of rape.
The doctor took him to the workspace where he gave a dead child and his condition deteriorated.
“Because of excessive bleeding, he went to a coma and died 15 to 20 minutes after giving birth,” said Inspector J K Rathod from Gomtipur police.
Rathod said that the defendant was unknown because the girl died without being able to speak.
“According to the hospital record, he gave a person’s name named Sahil but did not know anything about his whereabouts,” he said.
The police suspected that the girl was raped eight to nine months ago.
The investigator has sent DNA samples from children to die for forensic examinations.
When the girl died when delivering a child, the police accused the defendant with a guilty murder who did not number murder when raping him to take his life, a police officer said.
