“Some witnesses said that Mirza along with his ex-fiance, both drug addiction, had gone to a hotel in Juhapura.
There, they applied epoxy adhesive to his personal part because they did not bring any protection,” said a senior Ahmedabad City Police officer.
Both reportedly went to the hotel with another woman on the autorickshaw on June 22.
“We checked CCTV footage and found Mirza and his girlfriend entered the hotel.
He was found fainting the next day,” the officer said.
Police officers said that the duo had taken several drugs after they decided to have sex.
“Because they have no protection, they decide to apply adhesives to their personal part to ensure that he is not pregnant.
They carry adhesives because they occasionally use it with bleach to breathe the mixture for a kick,” the officer said.
The officer said that using the deteriorating adhesive health condition and he died of complications including organ failure.
DCP (ZONA-7) Premsukh Delu, said that Mirza’s family members accused that the woman, who accompanied her to the hotel, had applied the adhesive to her personal part.
“We are waiting for a report on the sample of the deceased viscer that has been sent for forensic examination,” Delu said.
Mirza is the only member of his family income consisting of elderly parents and his two sisters.
Kin, Sayrabanu Mirza, was applied to submit a complaint with the Vejalpur police on June 25.
After the death of Mirza, the police filed a complaint of unintentional death and started an investigation.
Mirza lay unconscious in the bush near the Amber Tower on June 23.
His acquaintance, Firoz Shaikh, found him and took him home.
Mirza’s condition deteriorated and he was taken to the Sola Sola hospital where he died.
According to the Mirza family, his friends claimed that he had taken several drugs that affected his health.
