Ahmedabad: Women kill themselves, notes found on braids

Ahmedabad: A 32-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging her at her home in Vastra Chaudhary Village, Dehgam Taluka, Gandhinagar District, allegedly due to her husband’s harassment and her in-laws.
He narrated his trials in the suicide note, which he placed in his braid, before suicide.
Parvati Manwar, 31, a native of Suigam Village in Banokantha District, married Chauhan, also from Suigam, five years ago after he was abandoned by her previous husband.
He and her husband went to Vastra Chaudhary Village in Dehgam to work.
On Monday morning, her husband’s friend was named Brother Elder Parvati, Rama Manwar, and told him that his sister died.
Rama went to where she was and stopped her last ritual, suspecting that she had committed suicide, after finding some signs on her neck.
He called the police to ask the death of his sister.
When he grieved while holding his sister’s body, a piece of paper fell from his braid, which he opened and turned out to be a suicide note.
His sister wrote that her husband and father-in-law harassed him continuously on a small problem.
In a suicide note, he wrote that her husband had stopped talking to him for the past two years and there was no meaning in his life.
Rama told the police that his sister had two months ago, told him that he was constantly harassed by his husband and his in-laws and he wanted to leave.
His family members pressed him to reach a compromise and live with her husband.

The husband and three others were ordered for suicide reduction.
