New Delhi: India is likely to enable grounded-since March-2019 Boeing 737 Max to fly back in this country in the coming weeks.

While Spicejet, the only Indian operator with the B737 Max in his fleet, so far it is not approaching the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) who is looking for permission for this aircraft to fly again, sources say unleased informal for preparation for preparation 100 max.
Max has been allowed to fly again in several places like the US, EU and UAE after Boeing modified the hardware and the software needed in it.
Boeing and US Federal flight administration (FAA) have shared Max technical details with DGCA India.
