Coimbatore: Kuniyamuth police have registered cases of more than 200 AIADMK officials with various charges, including assembly that violated the law, to protest in the former Local Administration House S P Er Velumani’s House here to condemn DVAC RAID.
Opposition workers are ordered in three separate cases.
Among those ordered are Coimbatore MLA North Amman K Arjunan, Mettupalayam MLA AK Selvaraj, Kavundampalayam MLA Prg Arkumar, Kinathukadavu MLA S Damodaran, Pollarhi MLA V Jayaraman, Madathukulam Mla C Mahendran, Varorai MLA Kandasamy, Palladam Mla Mla, Sulur Mla VP Kandasamy and Former MLAS OK Chinnaraj, Ettimapai A Shanmugam and Kasthuri Vasu.
Police Competition Courses, Meanwhile, registered a case against 29 DMK functionaries to extinguish firecrackers to celebrate DVAC search at Velumani’s place and performance of protests seeking the arrest of the former minister.
