Coimbatore / Erode: The coordinator with AIADMK Edappadi K Palaniswami accused the DMK of trying to create legal and order problems in Coimbatore and warn that AIAdMK would not be a mute audience if there was a threat to peace in the state.
The campaign for AIDMK candidates in Coimbatore on Monday, EPS launched a spicy attack on the police too, accusing them to act for the ruling party.
He alleged that DMK had begun to bribe voters to polls of urban local agencies.
“They have started distributing prizes in several places and will do it in more places in the coming days,” he thought.
EPS said the police had to prevent bribing acting acting in gloves with DMK men.
“On Monday, AIADMK officials challenged the DMK of men who distributed gifts to the public.
Instead of acting on voters who bribed, the police had arrested the AIADMK man who told the police about bribery.
The police have become the DMK department now,” he said.
DMK uses Police and thugs to intimidate the AIADMK man to win in the local body selection, he said.
“The police surrendered to the DMK line and fake case foist in the AIADMK man,” he said and warned them to act in an impartial way.
EPS said that the DMK pampered itself in this tactic because it had lost public support.
