Aicte appears with tips for helping dyslexia children

New Delhi: The All India Board for Technical Education (AICTE) has come up with advice to help children suffer from dyslexia.
These suggestions will help teachers to handle students with disability disabilities or learning.

Punia said: “The first tip is to appreciate these students and do not criticize them.
Second is such children should not be asked to read hard in front of the whole class.”
“Third, we also suggest that students who face difficulties in learning should not be punished.
The fourth is that the teacher should not expect a lot of work writing from children like that.”
“Fifth, such students should not be asked to copy work from books.
The teacher must encourage students to do homework online.”
“Children must be given an environment where they can understand clearly.
Such students must be given the opportunity to answer verbally.”
To disseminate the awareness of Dyslexia, Aicte has included Indumati Rao, founder and regional advisors, CBR networks, Bangalore; Balaiku Sharma Dadich, Director – Localization and Accessibility, Microsoft and Shephali Gulati, Child Neurology Head, Delhi Division AIIMS Pediatratri.
The webinar that focuses on this problem will also be arranged soon.
Aicte wants that the community must advance with the supporting system to give pillows to children like that, violating delusion of inability.

Sahasrabuddhe said social stigma around dyslexia must be damaged and will only be possible with the help of awareness programs.
“The parents of a child dyslexia need emotional support.
