Thiruvananthapuram: Thiruvananthapuram Regional Co-Operative Manufacturer of ASI (TRCMPU) Milma has stated that RS 1 Crore Emergency Assistance Package to help Dairy Cow Farmers affiliated in flood-hit areas in the region.
The help package includes a 25,000 RS sollatium for relatives of farmers who died during the disaster here on Monday.
The emergency meeting of the Trcmpu Administrative Committee held here made the initial allocation of RS 1 Crore to fulfill urgent commitment in this case, said the organizer n inhasea.
The meeting has decided to give farmers who lose their livestock in disaster until Rs 25,000 as compensation.
Until RS 20,000 will be provided to rebuild the destroyed livestock during the disaster and 10,000 Rs for repairing damaged buildings from the community of milk cooperatives.
Free animal feed will be distributed to dairy farmers who live in a flood-hit area.
Free veterinary medical services will also be extended for 15 days in the affected areas of the flood.
Trcmpu plans to arrange veterinary camps with the support of cooperative communities.
The TrCMPU Administrative Committee has also decided that transportation allegations will be given to the cooperative community where Milma’s procurement vehicles cannot achieve due to the destruction of the road caused by disasters.
