Bhubaneswar: AIIMS Bhubaneswar continues the service of the Summary Department (OPD) from Monday.
The hospital receives around 2500 patients in the OPD on the first day.
All departments work like before.
The National Institute has closed its OPD Walk-in service starting January 17 due to the increasing Covid-19 case in the state and Bhubaneswar.
But it provides OPD services through Telemedicine and AIims Bhubaneswar Swasthya App.
If necessary, the patient also visited the hospital after consulting with doctors.
The hospital source said that around 10,000 patients received OPD services from January 17 to February 6 during this period, he continued emergency services smoothly along with the treatment of covid patients.
The department is advised to follow the Covid-19 protocol while allowing their patients and officers to the OPD block.
Sachidananda Mohanty’s medical supervisor has instructed the department to order 4-5 beds in each ward for new reception cases (suspects).
