NEW DELHI: In light of decreasing Covid-19 instances from the federal funding, All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) has declared it is going to resume its out patient department (OPD) services from June 18, at a phased way.
In a formal note Tuesday, Medical Superintendent Dr DK Sharma said that the choice has been accepted by AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria.
According to the notice, now, OPD enrollment is going to be carried out just for those patients using previous online/telephonic appointment along with also a choice to permit walk in registrations will be accepted after after reviewing Covid-19 specific situation.
“In place of appreciable reduction in Covid-19 instances, it’s been determined from the Director AIIMS to re-start the OPD services in a phased manner in the earliest but newest from 18th June 2021 (Friday),” said the note.
The Head of Departments (HoDs) have been asked to present suggested variety of fresh and followup OPD patients daily that are to receive online/telephonic appointments.
As stated by the Delhi health ministry issued Monday, 255 newest situations, 376 recoveries along with 23 deaths had been reported more than 24 hours at the federal capital.
The hardness rate stands at 0.35 percent.
