Nagpur: After social organizations and citizens promised to protest for MRI machines that did not function in the Radiology Department of the Nagpur Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur did not help only to patients but also for PG students Radiology.

Vibha Dutta, Director and CEO AIIMS Nagpur, told TOI that advanced MRI facilities were available at AIIMS.
“Patients can achieve AIIM and take advantage of the benefits of MRI and advanced care facilities.
They can save costs for MRI in personal arrangements,” said Dr.
Dutta.
He also said that PG students from the Radiology GMCH Department could come to AIIM for direct training lost due to engine no.
“The AIIMS radiology department has a limited workforce.
PG students from GMCH can add it.
This will benefit students and patients,” Dr.
Dutta said.
AIIMS is ready to work with GMC at the academic level.
This is very possible because AIIM and GMC have a long academic association.

Construction and additions to new facilities are underway after where the hospital will have more than 750 beds equipped with all the facilities needed.
At present, the bed at the General Gate AIIMS has oversight such as the ICU and the call system installed.
Because house isolation is not allowed in Nagpur City, all Covid-19 patients in the NMC region are only treated in Ward AIIMS Covid-19.
