Nagpur: The Legal Sector Medico in Vidarbha will get an encouragement as an Institute of Indian Medicine (AIIMS), Nagpur, immediately starting to do post-Mortem in advanced forensic facilities that will come.
Phase One of the projects approaching the completion with the AIIMS authority prepares to hold a meeting with Kuningan City Police for future collaboration on the Medico-legal aspect.
The source of AIIMS said the first phase would have a corpse, cold storage, doctor’s room, police panthname room and the mourners hall to start.

Manish Shrigiriwar under the supervision of the AIims ‘Director and CEO of AIIMS’ General Dr.
Vibha Dutta, SM.
In phase II, AIIMS NAGPUR is likely to have a ‘virtual autopsy’ for a dignified corpse management on the lines of Delhi partners where the post-mortem process can be resolved by using CT scans and MRI and without having to hide the body.
The autopsy auditorium also includes facilities planned for the next stage with a capacity of 50 seats.
But another significant inclusion of the phase II project, which will have the ground floor and another floor, is a toxicology department where the ‘poison information center’ all the time will function.
Experts Manning The Center will help interpret the effects of poisons and the arrangements even for long distance questions.
DNA analysis is also set to be part of the second phase.
Toi has reported about the Unique Forensic Museum Institution added weights to the credibility of the Medico-legal department.
Although AIIM will initially start with post-mortem from several police stations around him like Sonegaon, it studied institutions gradually began to handle more complicated and sensitive cases in the coming days.
With AIIM who are looking into medical practice, this institution will not contain many of the medical colleges and government hospitals (GMCH) who deal with important cases in Vidarbha where more sensitive skills are needed in sensitive crimes .
“There is an elaborative plan to make a forensic department in AIims Nagpur, one of the best in Central India where most important cases will be handled in the near future,” said Prof.
