Patna: A team of doctors from the Indian Medical Sciences Institute (AIIMS-P) has succeeded in eliminating a tumor with a weight of 9.5kg from the stomach of a 15-year-old girl from Sitamarhi.
The hospital medical supervisor, Dr.
C M Singh, told this reporter on Wednesday that patients recovered quickly after challenging operations.

Talking to this newspaper, Dr.
Anil said, “The girl was accepted here 15 days ago with a lump in her stomach which caused respiratory problems.

“It was a challenging operation because the tumor had spread to the chest cavity, pushing the diaphragm and began to put pressure on the digestive tract.

Anil, added that the girl’s weight was reduced From 32kg to 20.5kg after the removal of the tumor.
This is the sixth case of the main tumor removal operation at AIIMS-P in a month.
