Patna: Doctors from the Institute of Medical Sciences – Patna (AIIMS-P) operate at a 15-year-old Jatui girl on Friday and released a brain tumor with a weight of 5kg after an eight-hour operation.
The 25x25cm tumor also includes a large area in the outer head area.
The tumor gave a lot of pressure on the girl’s head and caused painful pain.
He was treated at AIIMS-P three weeks ago in a severe anemic condition with 4% hemoglobin and underwent blood transfusion before surgery.
He took medicine and was taken to the operating theater on Friday morning.
Head of the Neurosurgory Department, Dr.
Vikas Chandra Jha, who led the surgical team, told this reporter on Saturday that the patient was stable and recovered quickly.
Previously, a 13-year-old boy boy and a 65-year-old woman operated and their tumor was moved using a robot arm at AIIMS-P.
Jha said, “Robot technology found the safest path moving through the brain.” The doctor’s team included Rajnish, Sarsij, Neeraj and Sahnawaz.
