PATNA: A group of physicians of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences-Patna (AIIMS-P) successfully eliminated a tumour weighing 2.5kg in the abdominal area of a 61 decades’ older individual from Siwan following a week-long operation on Friday.
AIIMS-P manager Dr PK Singh explained it had been an unusual situation and required complex surgery in order to save different organs out of any harm.
However, the team headed by Dr Anil Kumar, head of injury and crisis, conducted the operation succesfully.

Getting painless in character, these lumps mainly stay undiagnosed until their expansion reaches damaging position.

Other physicians of operation and anaesthesia divisions in the group comprised Dr Sheo Shankar, Dr Ajit Kumar, Dr Rahul Ranjan,” Dr Jijo Anto and also Dr Hari Prasad.
