Guwahati: The second guest lecture from the guest lecture series organized by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) concluded on Wednesday in virtual mode.
Guest speaker, Prof.
(Dr.) Praveen Aggarwal, Professor and Head, Department of Emergency Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, talked about the topic of “First Aid in medical emergencies”.
This lecture was attended by nearly 500 students, faculty members, principals, directors, heads of various institutions that provide health education under the Faculty of Medical Allopathic (Modern), Ayurveda, Dentistry, Homeopathy, Prissis, Pharmacy, Paramedics and Health Society as people from other walks.
The speaker clearly discusses the spectrum of various problems regarding first aid in a medical emergency situation in a simplified manner, related to everyday life, which is highly valued by all.

“This lecture series aims to provide a simplified medical education and create awareness about health problems.
In the current health scenario where hospitals are burdened with health conscious patients encourage health care centers, this lecture is an attempt to fortify people from all levels to overcome medical emergencies in the source, so that both the load and transit time to the nearest health of the center are reduced to a certain extent.
Interaction enthusiastic by the participants shows that taking these problems to the general public will be very useful, “said Krishna Guhain, University Chancellor Deputy.
In an effort to improve superspecialty medical education in Assam, the University introduces the MasterClass series which aims to hone patient management skills to develop self-sufficiency in superspecialty services in Assam so that patients do not need to leave the country for treatment.
The first lecture from this series is scheduled to be delivered by Prof.
