Lucknow: Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisa-LED All Indians Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) on Sunday announced the first list of nine candidates – all in the West.
The party also hinted that it might compete in 175 seats above, not 100 as announced before.
“We previously began preparation for field candidates from 100 assembly constituencies.
But when we invited the application, we received a response from 240 seats from a total of 403.
We now see field candidates in 175 plus chairs,” Shauquat Ali, Aimim State President, to Ti on Sunday.
Initially, Aimim became part of Bhagidari Sankalp Morcha (BSM) led by Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) Chief Om Prakash Rajbhar along with eight other small parties.
Morcha also held a parley with Shivpal Yadav from the Pragatatheel Samajwadi party – Lohia (PSP-L) and Chandra Chandra Chandra Party (ASP) Chandra Shekhar Azad.
However, after Rajbhar and Shivpal entered the Alliance with SP, Aimim decided to go Solo.
The party has deployed Dr.
Mehtab from Loni’s chair in Ghaziabad.
Doctors by the profession, Dr.
Mehtab will take RLD Madan Bhaiya and BJP Nand Kishore Gujar, The Sitting Mla.
From Sardhana, Aimim has named Zeeshan nature as a candidate.
Zeeshan was initially with RLD.
Likewise, at Saharanpur Dehat Marghoob Hasan is aimim candidate pitted against ashu malik from sp.
From Daulona in Hapur, the party has lowered Haji Arif, the husband of the Chairperson of the Panchayat Dasna which has been contested and won on the Aimim symbol.
Aimim has chosen ex-itbp Jawan Taslim Ahmed as his candidate from Kithore in Meerut.
Others in the list included Rafat Khan from the typical Salwal (Meerut), Furqan Chaudhary from Garh Mukhteshwar in Hapur was also president of the Aimim Division as well, Amjad Ali’s social worker from Behat (Saharpur) and Shaheen Raza Khan from Bareilly (Barede).
