Kabul: Airport Kabul Afghanistan has been equipped with an air defense system to fight rocket entering, said officials said when the Taliban emphasized with blister attacks throughout the country.
Washington and his allies will end their military mission in Afghanistan at the end of next month, even when the rebels say they are now controlling 85 percent of the countries – impossible claims to verify and debate independently by the government.
The rapid advantage of the Islamic fundamentalist group in recent weeks has caused concerns about the security of the capital and the band, with NATO wanting to secure a vital outgoing route to the outside world for foreign diplomats and aid workers.
“The newly installed air defense system has been operating in Kabul since 02:00 Sunday,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
“This system has proven useful in the world in repelling rocket attacks and missiles.” The Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian told the AFP it was installed at the airport, although officials did not offer details about the type of system or which had installed it.
Taliban regularly launched rockets and mortars in government forces in the countryside, with the Islamic State group Jihadis (is) carrying out a similar attack in the capital in 2020.
Also claimed responsible for this year’s rocket attack in Bagram Air Base, the largest US military facilities on This country, who was recently handed over to Afghan forces.
Over the years the US military installed several C-RAM (rocket, artillery and mortar systems) above the base, including Bagram, to destroy the entry rocket targeting facilities, said foreign security officials and media reports.
C-Rams includes a camera to detect rockets that enter and remind local troops.
Turkey has promised to provide security for Kabul Airport so US troops and NATO go next month.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday said Turkey and the United States have approved the “scope” of how the airport will be managed under the control of Turkish forces.
Taliban militants carry out rapid attacks throughout the country, but mostly in the North and Western provinces, since the beginning of May, when US last troops began to leave Afghanistan.
India on Sunday became the last country to evacuate diplomats because the security situation deteriorated, with its foreign ministry said it attracted staff from its consulate in South Kandahar, where the Taliban fought with city forces.
Security sources added that around 50 Indian personnel, including around six diplomats, took home.
Last week Russia announced that it had closed its consulate in the city of Mazar-I-Sharif in North Afghanistan, while China also evacuated 210 citizens from the country.
The battle has led several veteran warlords to spread the militia to fight any attack.
In the western province of Herat, where the Taliban this week caught the main border of the cross with Iran, Veteran Warlord Ismail Khan mobilized his fighters in the provincial capital.
Pakistani envoys for Kabul asked the international community to help strengthen Afghan security forces, warn that mobilizing militias to fight the Taliban could worsen the situation in the country captured by violence.
“If something translates into several types of wars between militias and the Taliban, it will be dangerous,” said Mansoor Ahmad Khan in an interview with AFP on Saturday.
“Therefore, it is important that the capacity of the Afghan government to maintain these attacks and this security challenge is strengthened.” The Afghan government has repeatedly dismissed the increase in Taliban having a little strategic value, but the seizure of some of the border crossings and taxes they produce the possibility of filling its pounds with new income.
Rebels have made most of the northern Afghanistan in recent weeks, and the government is no more than a constellation of provincial capital which most must be strengthened and guaranteed through the air.
