New Delhi: Air India has suffered huge losses since the merger with Indian airlines in 2007 and has gathered a loss around Rs 70,820 Crores until March 31, 2020, the State Minister for Civil Flights V K Singh on Wednesday.
Financial offers for Air India are likely to be received from the quality interested bidder on September 15 this year.
The center has invited an expression of interest (EOIS) for Air India on January 27, 2020.
The last date of submission – after several extensions due to the Pandemic Covid-19 – from Eois is December 14, 2020.
“Air India suffers a big loss since the merger and has gathered losses around the hospital 70,820 crores until March 31, 2020, “said Singh in his written answer to a question at Rajya Sabha.
