New Delhi: The government on Wednesday appointed officers IAS Rajiv Bansal as Secretary of the Civil Service Ministry.
Bansal currently serves as chairman and managing director of Air Indian water passenger carrier.
Previously, he also served as a financial advisor for petroleum and the Ministry of Natural Gas.
He will succeed in Pradeep Singh Kharola, who will retire at the end of the month.
Bansal was the 1988 IAS officer from Nagaland cadres.
He previously had a task with the Civil Service Ministry (Moca) between 2006 and 2008.
